As a well-respected medical professional, Dr. Longmire was admitted into the prestigious International Association of HealthCare Professionals following his publication in The Leading Physicians of the World in 2015. He lives by the motto “You cannot outgive God,” which he attributes to his success.
Dr. Longmire completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Houston and then went on to medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He left Texas to complete further medical and surgical training in Staten Island, New York.
A true Texan who grew up in Woodsboro, Texas, Dr. Longmire could not stay away. After completing his residency, he returned to his home state and set up his practice in Hitchcock, Texas.
He is board-certified in family medicine and is a professional member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, and the Society of Faith Formation.
Dr. Longmire is a strong believer in peer support, so he serves as a clinical faculty member at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
When not working with his patients or helping his peers, Dr. Longmire enjoys spending time with his family and attending church. He is also an avid fisherman and hunter.
